Gobble Gobble Gobble 2024

PAST EVENT

“Turkey Trots” are Thanksgiving day tradition for many around the country. In 2023 and 2024, Prodct participated in the annual Gobble Gobble Gobble, organized by Somerville Road Runners and benefiting several non-profits including Stride for Stride, whom we made our additional P4G donation to.

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve followed through on our commitment and made our donation to Stride for Stride!

Stride for Stride is a non-profit organization that buys race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC, and low-income runners, making races more accessible and diverse. Their mission goes beyond running—it’s about hope, empowerment, belonging, and family. By supporting this incredible organization, we’re helping ensure that money never prevents someone from getting to the starting line and potentially crossing a life-changing finish line.

This donation also highlights the amazing work of the Gobble Gobble Gobble 4-Mile Run, which over the past 10 years has donated more than $400,000 to local charities, including the Somerville Homeless Coalition, Somerville Track PAC, Dilboy VFW Veterans Relief Fund, and Stride for Stride. We’re proud to be part of such a meaningful event that makes a real impact in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Gobble for Good event this Thanksgiving. Your participation helped make this donation possible, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished together.

At Prodct, we believe in doing big things, and that always means doing human things. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

ABOUT STRIDE FOR STRIDE

Stride for Stride is a non-profit running organization that buys race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC, and low-income runners - whose goal is to make races more accessible and more diverse.

There's no reason why money should prevent you from getting to the starting line, especially when crossing the finish line could change your life.

Tom O'Keefe, Founder of Stride for Stride explains, "Crossing the finish line gives people hope, empowerment, a sense of belonging, and pure joy."

Stride for Stride launched in November 2018 and since has grown by 2024 to a team of 450 runners from 26 countries; Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Taiwan, Morocco, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India, and the United States.

Stride for Stride is more than just running - it's about hope, empowerment, belonging, and family. Stride for Stride is a welcoming community - a giant family - for immigrants to feel safe and welcome with other individuals going through the same challenges and struggles of being an immigrant in this beautiful country.
